Vagabond Productions

Vagabond Productions is the production company for the Theatre Studies Program. Every year, Vagabond Productions puts on at least one show. Auditions for the shows are open, and everyone is welcome.

Vagabond Productions was created in 2005 as the production company for the Theatre Studies Program. In the past, most of the shows were produced by the UPEI Theatre Society. In creating Vagabond, Dr. Doran wanted to distinguish the work of the Program from the work of the extra-curricular group.

The mandate of Vagabond Productions is to produce a mix of Classic and Canadian plays and to experiment with a variety of production models. Vagabond Productions is committed to taking plays from the classroom and producing them.

In the past few years, Vagabond shows have included Heartbreak House, The Rez Sisters, The Outsider, and The Knight of the Burning Pestle. For a complete list of all past shows, please check the Production History.
